Lose Weight While Sleeping?

Sounds too good to be true. That's what I thought.

I was browsing through March Glamour magazine and found this article which introduced 5 women who actually tried this out and lost significant amount of weight.

8 hrs sleepAccording to Glamour Magazine... if you get 7.5 hrs of sleep everyday, then your brain secretes a lot of 'growth hormone' which tells your body to break down fat for energy thus having more energy than you usually have during the day. Hey sounds good!

Spring is coming (or came..I can't still think it's spring...) and these days I have been TIRED EVERYDAY!

I usually don't munch on chips or any other junk foods, but these days I needed some caffeine boost or sugar rush or I couldn't hang on even for a day. I look so terrible (darker undereye circles and constant yawning...I feel like I'm sleep walking or something) with stress and thus preventing me from having a nice long sleep too.

Working OutI workout sometimes and during weekends  but I would rather sleep and sleep and sleep and still TIRED. Geez!

I think it's true that many people are deprived of sleep these days with TV and internet available 24-7. Even I fall into such temptation every night when I am too tired to fall asleep! I would just be 'sleep walking' the whole day and when it's around 10pm I start to WAKE up...Definitely a night owl. Hah! And whenever I finally go to bed, I would just toss and turn for about an hour before I fall alseep and in the morning my dreadful day starts again. *Sigh*

Bed

But maybe it's just that I need to sleep more and be consistent about it. Hey,  according to Glamour you lose weight while doing that too!

I've been trying to lose some weight (without any result) with summer coming up and all. But I don't even have energy to go to the gym (excuses, excuses). So today I'm going to measure (eh hem) and weigh myself and TRY MY BEST to get about 8hrs of sleep. I guess I shouldn't be expecting any results for next couple weeks but focus on actually accomplishing 8hrs of sleep first.

Also I'm going to regularly try to work out as well.
I'll let you know if I get any good results Hah hah...
