Founding Farmers Restaurant in Potomac, MD

October 31, 2012 by Anna Leave a Comment

My friends and I wanted to grab something to eat after a special early morning service at our church. HC led us to "Founding Farmers" saying that they have nice brunch. Turned out that they open later than usual on weekends. We were so hungry and angry. We ended up going to a different cafe for a quick breakfast.

H.C. promised he'll take us back there for the real Sunday Brunch and his treat!

So finally we went...
He made a reservation, just to make sure we can get a seat.  FYI, you can make a reservation online.

I am sure he wouldn't dare taking that risk with me again ...since
we tend to get really grouchy when we get hungry and no food...

well... maybe just me...my friends know to steer clear of me when I'm in that state...seriously...

Anyhow...we went there on Sunday around 11am. Nice atmosphere.

I didn't have chance to take pictures of the interior but it was nice and fresh. They are supposed to be eco-friendly and casual setting. We got to go upstairs, which felt more homey and warm. Felt like we were sitting in someone's dining room. Nice~ I liked how the servers had all different aprons on too. Cute.

On the way up to the upper dining area, I spotted this small mouse hole with fake mouse lighted... haha cute touch.

Full Key Chinese Restaurant Restaurant

May 21, 2012 by Anna Leave a Comment

We went to Full Key restaurant for dinner. The restaurant is small and tightly spaced so don't plan on going there as a large group. About 6 of us went and it was really tight and awkwardly spaced.

I don't really like how the tables are set there, but I loved the food. It's not greasy and with hodge podge of decorations, I felt like I was somewhere out of country...Ha ha...

I love their price and the food is great!

Tian Korean-Chinese Restaurant in Ellicott City,MD

July 17, 2011 by Anna Leave a Comment

Went to Tian Korean-Chinese restaurant for lunch today. I posted several reviews of this restaurant since the restaurant's chef seems to change very often...so the taste seems to change often too...It seems like it's new restaurant everytime I go..ha ha ha...I haven't been there for a while since the bad experience I had last time.

Last time I went, their noodles for jjajangmyun seemed to be linguini pasta... And the sauce was weird too. I didn't go back after that.

But I heard that they started handmade noodles plus I was running late. I ate SamsunJjampong- seafood spicy noodle soup. Noodle was little thinner than I expected but it was chewy. Soup wasn't too spicy and just enough for me with lots of veggies. And our server was very nice and polite. Overall my experience today was good enough.

Korean Binggrae’s Banana Flavored Milk

This is Binggrae’s the Banana Flavored Milk! This is Korean version packaging of the milk. I’m not sure how many non-Korean would have tried this, but this is one of the ‘traditional’ Korean drink and its popularity has been going strong even after 35 years. A lot of Koreans have nostalgic childhood memory of this […]

Allgreen Market-Poongnyun Foodcourt in Glen Burnie, MD

Remember the Fresh World International Market in Glen Burnie, MD? It is now under new management called Allgreen. Fresh World seemed to focus more on Latin groceries and etc. I couldn’t really find good amount of Korean stuff. But Allgreen seem to organize aisles nicer with clearly labeled aisle signs. I’m not sure how much […]

Non Spicy American Cabbage Kimchi Recipe

Non Spicy American Cabbage Kimchi Recipe

I just found out that some call cabbage a “Cheap Doctor” since it’s inexpensive and has lots and lots of health benefits. My mom has been suffering from indigestion (something about acid problem) and can’t eat too much of spicy foods, greasy, any other strong flavored foods anymore. One of her friends, who was having […]
