If you live in MD, remember couple days ago? Our neighborhood had terrible Wind storm?!
While I was sleeping I could hear the thunder and the wind clashing on our house...(our house is on the top of the hill too..) I thought our roof was going to crumble down or something since I heard this large THUD! But I was still alive so I went back to sleep.
In the morning...my mom, Young, woke and and as always opened the back door to the deck for Nine for his um 'morning ritual'...and realized the back yard somehow 'looked' wider and brighter than usual...Hmmmm

On September 7, 2009 I was going Rt. 100 westbound to get to Ellicott City around 7pm. Snowden River Pkwy exit usually is the one with some traffic but that day...it was a real traffic! Was anybody else there? Or actually witnessed it?
At first I thought it was construction going on or something... but then they blocked off ALL lanes and made all cars to take a detour through Snowden Exit and so many police cars. Something happened but I didn't know what was going on. I'm not high tech or anything so I had to wait till I come home and found out that there was a really bad motorcycle accident that killed a guy and one in shock trauma. Both were riding motorcycles and collided. It must have been a really bad scene since they blocked about a mile of Rt. 100.

I've been out of it for a while...but I'm back!
One day I was hungry and my stomach wouldn't stop growling...I dragged myself out to the kitchen with nothing to eat...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....
My lovely mom came to the rescue! I saw her doing this and that and I don't even remember what she was doing...and Ta-da~! She whipped up this wonderful spicy fish soup in no time which tasted amazing like she spent a whole day cooking this soup (but just spent less than 30minutes..actually it felt like she cooked in 5 min. LOL)
I love you MOM! I don't know how moms do it...moms around me ( not my moms...) just seem to be at ease and their hands moving so quickly (yet precise) and present wonderful dish that seemed effortless and taste amazing! Is it the years of experience or do they get some super powers when they become MOMS???? seriously!
I wonder if I'll ever be like that if I ever become a mom...Ta-Da....yeah...right...LOL!

Happy Mother's Day! Hope every mother out there had great day today!
I have really good memories with my mom. I always went wherever my mom went. I was my mom's "leech." I used to be (and still am *^^* ) shy that I didn't like to meet new people so I would always stick to my mom's leg to hide away from strangers. We still like to go shopping, eat, paint, or do something together whenever we can...(right mom?).
If you read my introduction, you know that I LOVE kimchi and one of my favorite mom and me memory is obviously with KIMCHI!

Sounds too good to be true. That's what I thought.
I was browsing through March Glamour magazine and found this article which introduced 5 women who actually tried this out and lost significant amount of weight.
According to Glamour Magazine... if you get 7.5 hrs of sleep everyday, then your brain secretes a lot of 'growth hormone' which tells your body to break down fat for energy thus having more energy than you usually have during the day. Hey sounds good!
Spring is coming (or came..I can't still think it's spring...) and these days I have been TIRED EVERYDAY!
I usually don't munch on chips or any other junk foods, but these days I needed some caffeine boost or sugar rush or I couldn't hang on even for a day. I look so terrible (darker undereye circles and constant yawning...I feel like I'm sleep walking or something) with stress and thus preventing me from having a nice long sleep too.

Have you ever had some important things stored too safe that you forget where you put it? But when you give up and when you forget about whatever you were looking for was lost, just one day it pops back at you? It happens to me too many times. My earrings were lost...and then found.
One of my hobbies is making earrings (sometimes necklaces but never tried bracelets). I made some for my friends and family, but I kept most of them. These are some of my earring collections (couple of them are store bought.) Since I made them I didn't really took care of them much and learned my lesson.
These days... my right ear seems to REJECT earrings or something. It would just slip, slip, slip without making any noises and I usually find out too late...Too late that I can't find it and I notice hours later that I'm wearing only one earring on my left ear. *blush* Only at that time I realized how precious MY handmade earrings are. My precious... *sob *sob*

I was actually hoping that this year might be a White Christmas...*sigh* but so far only precipitation we got here in MD these days was rain...wet...wet..wet...*sigh*
However, I guess it's not the weather, the decorations, or the presents (well, maybe a little) but who you are spending Christmas with. So my mom and I decided to spend some time with my dad's costume...well...very little time...so the result...click for the result!
